AP Don Skipcello (Chris) is a son of Donnertraum out of Skipcello Image. Donnertraum is by Donnerhall (imp), who produces foals with big flowing movement.
They show their sire?s extreme presence, beautiful carriage, intelligence, and charisma. Donnerhall is considered one of the best stallions of the latter half of the 20th century.
His approved sons are following in his hoofsteps - Donnertraum is a talented Queensland dressage champion. Skipcello Image was bred by Esther Bellis of Skipcello in NSW. Esther bred horses concentrating on producing the movement and temperament necessary for success in the fields of dressage, eventing and showjumping.
Image?s sire Skipcello Whenua is full brother to Gershwin who finished 8th at the Atlanta Olympics Three Day Event with Andrew Hoy. Andrew rode Gershwin to victory at Luhmuhlen***, only his second 3DE.
In 2000 Gershwin with owner Merran Wallis riding, was second at Burghley **** event in England. Whenua performed himself in horse trials in the UK including second in 1997 in the CCI** Macallan International Horse Trials at Burgie, Scotland.
Chris has the lineage to be an elite performance horse in the dressage, eventing or showjumping world. His paces are balanced and uncomplicated. His temperament is calm and relaxed and he enjoys attention. His bloodlines are in the blue to win blue.
