Beaches R has the most magnificent collection of eventing bloodlines. It just does not get much better if you are looking for a superstar. Beaches R is by the thoroughbred stallion Bao Lack. Bao Lack is the sire of Olympic team silver medallist All Luck, ridden by Shane Rose. Bao Lack is also the sire of a number of outstanding eventers including Fairview Rembrandt, competing his first CIC3* at Melbourne 3DE with young rider Thea Horsley on June 9th-11th. On the dam side of Beaches R is the very interesting Peaches R. This mare is by Promise R, who has also sired Sappho Ransan-Elliot’s SR Penhaligon, which is possibly one of the most exciting 2* eventing horses on the Australian scene at the moment. The sire of Promise R is Prestige VDL (imp), a straight Grand Prix dressage stallion, and Prestige VDL was sired by Silvano, who represented The Netherlands in dressage at the Sydney Olympics. On the dam side of Peaches R is Sanction, who sired Flame, who won the Adelaide 4* 3DE with Heath Ryan. On the dam side of Sanction is Sasha, who is by Sir Dane. Sir Dane was the sire of Stirling Shade who was three times the Australian 3DE Champion in the 1980s. Beaches R is a 5yo, which is just perfect for someone who is looking for a horse ready to go, with potential to address the top levels of competition.
