This is an eye-catching youngster with spectacular movement. He has excellent overtrack in walk, a big, swinging trot and a powerful, uphill canter. Sire Buckwell Park Heir Apparent has just started his dressage career, scoring more than 70% in his first couple of tests after having been a royal show and Australian champion as a yearling. Buster’s dam, Buckwell Park Possibility, was also a royal show champion that has gone on to be a top producer for Buckwell Park. Buster’s pedigree not only goes back to successful dressage legends such as Valuta, Briar, Daktylus, Goldstein and Alabaster, he carries a double cross of internationally sought-after Souvenir blood. Souvenir has been represented in eventing and show jumping at no less than eight Olympics through horses such as Peppermint Grove (Gillian Rolton), Mickey Mouse (Vicki Roycroft), Autograph (Jeff McVean) and Aava (WEG 2002 & Olympics 2008). Buster has a great personality and an extremely trainable nature and is bred for any Olympic discipline. He has the potential to interest professionals but is sensible enough for the enthusiastic amateur.
