Byalee Aaurora is a sweet-natured, nicely moving mare who has done it all without batting an eyelid. A smooth ride and a competent jumper, she placed at one-day events around the Hunter and competed at showjumping days as well as educating young riders at pony club. Aaurora is by Belcam Aatlantis who is by imported German stallion Aachen (also known as Aazzaro). Aachen is of course the sire of Grand Prix horses such as Aachimedes (Sally Evans), and of stallions such as Belcam Aallegro, Abbylara Avante, Fourwinds Aatal, A Big Pleasure and many more while Aatlantis’ dam, Suncoast Solo, was also the dam of stallion Belcam Graphic. Aachen was imported and later exported back to Germany. On the dam line, Aaurora is by champion Ludendorf stallion Stirling Lamay, out of Stirling Sally. Stirling Sally was a full sister to three-star eventer Country Lights (Heath Ryan), who was sold to the Japanese and went on to have a successful showjumping career as Just James with Rod Brown. Aaurora is in foal to Grand Prix stallion Byalee Wow Wie rw, who does carry some amazing TB showjumping and eventing lines as well as his German dressage breeding, leaving the way open for Aaurora’s foal to be successful in any of the Olympic disciplines. Given her size, and the rideability of both sire and dam, her foal should be the perfect partner for an up-and-coming young rider to make their mark.
