Maelstrom is an extremely handsome horse with an outstanding presence. His movement is quite breathtaking with an incredible ground-covering stride and superb hindleg action.
His sire, Grand Prix horse Richmeed Medallion (imp), is by the renowned Danish stallion May Sherif and out of Catherston Desert Gold.
His dam is the ASB registered mare Serena. He has won championships too numerous to mention, at all levels up to and including medium, and regularly scores more than 65%.
Maelstrom is graded elementary with 109 grading points but is already training in all the FEI movements and showing awesome piaffe and passage.
Maelstrom has always been trained and competed by professional riders and is with Silva Stigler after a two-year break.
Successful relatives include Byalee Magic, Matador and Gracefield Fabian. This is a genuine opportunity for a serious competitor to purchase a champion about to pounce on FEI.
